Faculty, Centre for Management Communication
Researcher, educator, and communication strategist bridging the worlds of journalism and academia. Specialising in climate change communication, executive presence, ESG narratives, and leadership communication.
I am Visiting Assistant Professor and former Chairperson of the Centre for Management Communication at IIM Bangalore — one of India's premier business schools. My work sits at the intersection of journalism, academia, and organisational communication.
A former Principal Correspondent at the Times of India (2006–2012) and CNN Young Journalist Finalist Asia-Pacific 2007, I bring a practitioner's eye to academic research. I'm also Affiliate Faculty at the Center for Climate Change Communication, George Mason University, USA.
My research and teaching span Leadership Communication, Executive Presence, ESG Communication, Climate Change Narratives, Health Communication, and Cross-Cultural Communication.
An academic examination of how print media frames climate change — analysing press narratives across Indian and international outlets to understand how journalism shapes public understanding of environmental risk.
Research-backed insights on climate communication, leadership presence, and organisational discourse — for conferences, corporate events, and policy forums.
Open to collaborative research in climate communication, health communication, ESG narratives, and strategic communication — with academic and industry partners.
Custom executive education programmes for leadership teams — from ESG communication and executive presence to crisis communication and cross-cultural leadership.
Whether you're looking to invite me to speak, explore a research collaboration, or bring an executive education programme to your organisation — I'd love to hear from you.
